Security Statement
We understand that security is a top priority for our customers. That's why we process only minimal data required to provide the functionality. We are transparent in how we handle customer data.
We follow Atlassian's requirements and recommendations regarding apps security.
What data we store
We store only the content added within the app:
text
images uploaded by user (images are uploaded directly as a Confluence page attachment)
Where we store the data
We store the text data within the Confluence macro and images uploaded by the user as Confluence page attachments.
Thanks to this, the data never exits Atlassian Cloud infrastructure and is stored on the customer's Confluence instance.
Does the app have Data Egress?
No. We don't send any customer data anywhere.
We have one "egress" URL in the app's manifest: https://skyline.acceleration-engineering.com - it's used only to fetch static app resources (HTML+JS+CSS), displayed in the iframe.
Does the app support Data Residency?
Yes. Because the app stores content within the Confluence macro and images as page attachments, Data Residency is supported out of the box by Atlassian Cloud.
The data is stored on the customer’s Confluence instance, so it remains in the same location as Confluence data.
Why do we need specific permissions
read:connect-confluence and write:connect-confluence - to be able to read and write Confluence Content Properties.
Does the app have a data backup?
Yes. See https://www.atlassian.com/trust/security/security-practices#backups
